Today I found Marius in Ikea. I was struck to the bone in a moment of breathless delight. Marius: Available in Black (the colour of despair, his world if she’s not there). They talked of kitchens to be done, but my eyes were on this one. It was better than an opera! I asked of myself what’s the price I might pay. Tag says $6.50, I’d pay that any day. I walked out of there with my own Marius, at last!

I dunno… I still think little kids are evil and dangerous no matter how you raise them. Frankly, they scare me and I’m not opposed to banning children across the world outright. Maybe we should just stick to cats and dogs after all, they’re much safer, more loyal, less expensive and just all around better.

am so thankful to be able to live with my parents as long as I have, and that we get along. It’s so expensive to do anything on your own these days and I will always be grateful to them for not kicking me out when I hit 18 and knew college wasn’t for me. For forgiving me my faults and letting me have my job back. And being so understanding when I told them I wanted to be a dog trainer and letting me get a puppy. I know that was a difficult pill to swallow because they didn’t (and still don’t) want a dog. At all.

I’m grateful that my mom understands about my wanting to stay at home all the time. How I don’t feel called to be a “bread-winner” with a huge career that takes over everything. That is just not me. I’ll stay at home and do laundry, and figure out how to make my own bread, cook meals, raise kids and that sort of thing, thank you very much lol. I’m not saying I’ll never work, I’ll get a job if I have to, in order to help pay bills and such, but if it’s at all possible, I’d like to stay home. I feel like that’s my place, its where I belong.

However, staying at home for housework is not an option right now. So work is for me. Now that my trip is over, its time to start saving money. It’s
going to be REALLY hard because I like new things. But, now at least there will be no more spending over $700 in one day and I can focus on not going broke every few weeks.

This will be good. Normalcy is good. I feel like I should open a bunch of accounts with my bank lol one for future, one for trips, one for cars, one for tattoos and then an emergency one. Hmmm, I may need a bigger paycheck to cover all these non existent accounts lol.
